In 1998 India tested several nuclear weapons. Estimates of the size of India's arsenal vary between a handful to around 30. Most of these will be bombs to be dropped by aircraft, including Jaguar aircraft produced in India under license from Britain. The ongoing conflict over Kashmir with the neighbouring nuclear power of Pakistan is a grave cause for concern.
