"Scotland has a chance to lead the way in nuclear disarmament with the majority of our politicians joining the majority of our citizens in calling the abandonment of the replacement of Trident and for the ending of its deployment on the Clyde, also for the Scottish Parliament to support a Nuclear Weapons Convention as part of UN Secretary General Ban-Ki Moon's Five-Point-Plan for a World free of nuclear weapons."
"Scotland is capable of being a powerhouse for renewable energy sources in Europe and as nuclear power has been shown, sadly again in Japan, to be both potentially dangerous and environmentally irresponsible we should be concentrating our energies and scientific resources on developing renewables for our and other peoples future needs."
