Replied to survey in 2011: Question 1. The Scottish Parliament should continue to call on the UK government not to go ahead with the current proposal to replace Trident. Question 2. The Scottish Parliament should call on the UK government to cease the deployment of Trident Question 3. The Scottish Parliament should support a Nuclear Weapons Convention (a global ban on nuclear weapons). Question 4. Are you for or against the construction of new nuclear power stations in Scotland ? Replied to a letter from Scotland's for Peace in 2010 saying that he would vote against the replacement of Trident - "I am a members of SNP CND and totally opposed to nuclear weapons. I am ashamed of the UK's nuclear arsenal and favour immediate unilateral disarmament". |
