October 2009 - Joined the Top Level Group on Multilateral Disarmament, set up by Des Browne. 14 March 2007 - Voted for the Government motion which called for the renewal of Trident November 2006 - Replied to survey asking if he was opposed to the upgrading or replacing of Trident, as, not decided " As you know, the Government is to issue a White Paper setting out the arguments on the issue. I intend to make my respones on the basis of the case made in the White Paper. I appreciate that you and your co-signatories have made up your mind. I am prepared to weigh up the arguments at the appropriate time"
