Response to 2011 election survey: Question 1. The Scottish Parliament should continue to call on the UK government not to go ahead with the current proposal to replace Trident. Question 2. The Scottish Parlaiment should call on the UK government to cease the deployment of Trident Question 3. The Scottish Parliament should support a Nuclear Weapons Convention (a global ban on nuclear weapons). Question 4. Are you for or against the construction of new nuclear power stations in Scotland ? In the 2010 replied to a letter from Scotland's for Peace saying that she would vote against the replacement of Trident - " I beleive there is no place in the modern world for these weapons and that money would be better spent on front line services instead of weapons of mass destruction." |
