Replied to a letter from Scotland's for Peace in 2010 saying that he would vote against the replacement of Trident -

"I am a members of SNP CND and totally opposed to nuclear weapons. I am ashamed of the UK's nuclear arsenal and favour immediate unilateral disarmament".
