Replied to survey in 2011 election:

"I personally would oppose any new nuclear power stations being built in Scotland, and it is SNP policy too. The argument against Nuclear Power was won a long time ago on cost, health, security and seriously dangerous waste material for which there is no acceptable storage space. The renewable energy industry urgently needs investment for research and development.

"Energy is still a reserved matter and the present Westminster Government is pro-nuclear which means it is really important to vote for a candidate and/or party that is against nuclear power."

Active member of the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament

Replied to a letter from Scotland's for Peace in 2010 saying that she would vote against the replacement of Trident -

"I would wholeheartedly opposed any further expenditure on Trident and would make it a priority to lobby hard to get the present nuclear weaponry out of Scotland".
