Replied to a letter from Scotland's for Peace saying that he would vote against the replacement of Trident
"Trident is a useless waste of money. There is no justification for ever using them and to threaten to use them as part of foreign affairs is immoral. I have supported CND since the days of demonstrations against Polaris."
