Replied to a letter from Scotland's for Peace saying that he would vote against the replacement of Trident-
"I am utterly opposed to nuclear weapons and especially to a multibillion waste of vital money on a Trident replacement system.
I am already making this a key plank of my manifesto and will continue to argue about nuclear weapons when elected".
