At 5 to 8km

There would be many isolated fires. Buildings would be damaged with extensive debris and broken glass. Branches would be blown off trees. Those in the open would receive first degree burns, with reddened skin.

As a result of damage to buildings and fire there would be significant casualties up to 8 km from the explosion.

The area within this zone (5 - 8 kms) would be 122 square kms.
