80. Loch Striven, Argyll. (NS 094 711) A NATO POL fuel depot
and submarine z-berth, pictured below. Also shown below is the Royal
Fleet Auxiliary ship Victoria refuelling on Loch Striven. There is a limit on
the amount of explosives or munitions that can be stored on board a vessel whilst
the jetty is being used under the Dangerous Substances in Harbour Areas Regulations
(1987). In 1999 the limit was raised to 110,000 kilograms.
