PEACE IS THE PRIZE – A party near you this weekend

Across Scotland this coming weekend people will be celebrating the award on Sunday in Oslo of this year’s Nobel Peace Prize to ICAN for their work towards the Treaty for the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (TPNW)1 which was adopted by the UN in July this year. Faslane Peace Camp are holding a vigil tomorrow to mark the Nobel Peace Prize award to ICAN for their work towards the new UN Treaty for the Prohibition of Nuclear weapons. The plan is to meet at the peace camp between 1 and 2. We'll leave towards 2 and make our way down to the south gate of the base where we'll set up our banners. Back to peace camp at around 3 to warm up by the fire.

Events already held in Glasgow and Evanton (Highland CND). On 16th December Edinburgh SNP will have a special celebration as part of their festive gathering.
