All operational British nuclear weapons are based on the Clyde. This means that Scotland is in the forefront of the campaign against nuclear weapons.

There are 144 nuclear weapons deployed on Trident submarines based at Faslane. One of these vessels is at sea ready to fire its missiles at all times.

Before 2010 a crucial decision will be made - whether Britain will replace Trident - this provides an opportunity to make Britain nuclear -weapons -free - Help to say NO TRIDENT REPLACEMENT
