The Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament will be holding a demonstration in London during the G8 summit meeting. The G8 countries, including the major nuclear-weapons powers - US, Russia, Britain and France - will be discussing how to respond to the recent nuclear tests by India and Pakistan.
However what will not be on their agenda is what they are going to do to rid the world of nuclear weapons. CND wants to force the message "ABOLISH ALL NUCLEAR WEAPONS" into their minds if not onto the agenda.
CND will be holding a vigil ( a very, very noisy one ) from 10 am till at least 2 pm outside Lancaster House. Nearest tube - Green Park. Lancaster House is just of the Mall on the corner of Green Park.
Be there. Make your voice heard. Bring a good set of lungs, old dustbin lids, drums, anything that makes a helluva lot of noise.
