Aldermaston Judicial Review delayed
A judicial review into nuclear discharges from Aldmermaston which was due to start on 13 September has been postponed. The hearing at the High Court in London would have heard arguments that the Environment Agency had failed to take account of the need for a justification argument. As a large part of the discharges would be from Trident nuclear warheads, this could not be justified, in the light of international law.
