Tireless to be raised in European Parliament

According to the Spanish newspaper El Pais the issue of the repair of the nuclear submarine HMS Tireless in Gibraltar will be raised in the European Parliament.

It is expected to be raised by Carlos Bautista of the Andalusian Party. There has been widespread opposition to the repair in both Gibraltar and Andalusia.

The large transport ship, Transshelf, which might be capable of transporting HMS Tireless, has arrived in Gibraltar. The MoD have denied rumours that the vessel could be used to move the submarine to Devonport.
