Harry Potter and Trident

Alan Wilkie, Vice Chair of Scottish CND, said:
"We are here to overcome the latest manifestation of the dark arts. Trident submarines are unclear weapons. They can't distinguish between soldiers and civilians, friends and the enemy. They can't tell the difference between wizards and muggles."
He also pointed out the serious message that international law must apply to Trident. On 9th October the issues are expected to be discussed at the Lord Advocates Reference hearing in Edinburgh. Mr Wilkie said:
"This is the highest court in the country addressing the principles of the International Court of Justice. People from all over the world are interested to see how the Scottish justice system deals with it."
