Peace Camper banned from walking within yards of his home
Kreb Dragonrider was given bail conditions by Helensburgh District Court which severely restricted his civil liberties and ability to live normally. He appeared in front of JP Tony Stirling as a result of his involvement in several peace protests against the Trident submarine base over the last fortnight. Mr Stirling imposed bail conditions on him, initially saying that he was not to go within 250 yards of Faslane or Coulport.
This would have made him homeless, as he lives at Faslane Peace Camp. The JP adjusted the bail conditions to say that he must not go within 100 yards of Faslane. But this still means that when he leaves the Peace Camp he can only go left towards Helensburgh and not right towards Garelochhead, as the main road runs right next to the nuclear base.
Kreb is a druid and had taken part in the peace walk from Aldermaston to Faslane.
