click for larger image...Children would be particularly vulnerable to a nuclear explosion. The effects of radiation are more marked on young children. There are many horrific accounts from children of their experience of the bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. A single Trident nuclear warhead could result in the deaths of tens of thousands of children. The photo shows two boys after the Nagasaki bomb.
